Blackview, one of the most popular rugged phone brands unveiled a Flip phone at the CES 2024 event in Las Vegas, a moved that shocked fans and tech enthusiasts that are familiar with the brand. The Blackview Hero 10 is Blackview’s first foldable and is the first foldable phone from a rugged phone brand, this move also signals Blackview’s entry into the foldable phones market.
The device is said to launch later this year for a price that is expected to be reasonable. Now while it’s possible for the device not to perform well in the market, there’s a likelihood that we might see more foldable phones from Blackview and other rugged phone brands in the future.

The Blackview Hero 10 is powered by the Helio G99 paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, it ship with the Android 13 with DokeOS 3.1 on top.
Further, the device has a 6.9 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2970×1188 pixels. In addition, the Hero 10 has a circle shaped rear display that measures 1.3 inches with a 360×360 resolution. The phone’s battery capacity consists of a 2630 and 1300mAh piece which is quite good for a flip phone. The battery could last a day with moderate use and the device supports 45W fast charging to quickly fill it up when it’s drained.
The phone has a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens, there’s also an LED flash that sits beside the rear view. Additionally, there’s a 32MP front camera that is housed in the phone’s punch hole.
The Blackview Hero 10 is definitely a great leap for Blackview, the brand is rapidly expanding it’s product lineup, with it’s focus now on foldable phones all while still ensuring that it remains one of the best rugged phone brands in the world.
