Blackview’s first foldable phone, the Blackview Hero 10 has appeared on AliExpress, with its full specs and features revealed. On AliExpress, the Hero 10 retails for $999, which is likely a placeholder price. Knowing Blackview, the Hero 10 would definitely retail for a much more cheaper price when it releases.
Speaking of release date , its world premiere would take place from May 20 – 24, take note of this because the Hero 10 would most probably sell for the cheapest price you’d ever want it to be.
An impressive and cheap foldable phone
The Blackview Hero 10 is Blackview’s first foldable phone, it’s also one of the cheapest foldable phones to be released. It’s a foldable phone with impressive features including a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, with a peak brightness of 1300 nits, meaning the display is bright enough for use under direct sunlight.
It also features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor and a new feature the brand calls, “Dynamic Live View” which is similar to Apple’s dynamic island introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro series.
It also has a circular rear display that’s highly customizable and can be used to take high resolution selfies with the 108MP main camera, while serving as a viewfinder. The device is also well designed, having an aluminum-alloy water-drop hinge and frames with matte finish and a premium leather-like rear finish.
The Helio G99 handles performance and it’s paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. In the camera department, the phone has a dual rear camera setup and as stated above, the main camera is 108MP, while the secondary lens is an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with 120° field of view.
The front camera is 32MP, which is good enough for selfies and video calls, but if it’s not enough, then the main 108MP camera can be used instead, thanks to the phone’s circular rear display, which serves as a viewfinder.
Furthermore, the phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and it supports 45W fast charging. The phone’s battery is quite large for a foldable phone, it’s probably the largest battery in a foldable device. Additionally, the Hero 10 ships with the DokeOS 4.0 custom skin based on the Android 13 OS.
Blackview promises a 3 year OTA support for the Hero 10, the phone also supports NFC, OTG, Face Unlock, stereo speakers, dual SIM, and so on. The Blackview Hero 10 is offered in Sakura Purple and Eclipse Black colorways, it weighs just 198g with a thickness of 8.08mm.
