Umidigi teases the 200MP camera of the upcoming A15 Ultra 5G, the highly anticipated device is expected to be equipped with features
that are considered flagship-tier, one of which is it’s 200MP main camera which would likely be the ISOCELL HP3.
The video Umidigi shared on X was not in-depth but it solidifies the speculations surrounding the main camera of the A15 Ultra.
The Umidigi A15 Ultra is the best among the A15 series, it bears a stark resemblance to the A15 Pro 5g but pack better specs,
even better that the device can literally compete with many top smartphones available today.
Umidigi A15 Ultra Specifications
The Umidigi A15 Ultra has a 6.6 inch FHD+ Amoled display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, the phone’s screen-to-body ratio is 83%.
The bezels are very thin including the bottom bezel, although it appears slightly thicker but is still a lot comparable to many flagships today.
The phone’s refresh rate is undisclosed but it’s likely to be 120Hz just like the A15 Pro 5g.
Chipset And Memory
One of the phone’s USP is it’s processor, the device is said to be powered by a member of the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 flagship family;
The high-end Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ 4nm octa-core chip with a clock speed of 3.2GHz paired with the Arm Mali-G710 MC10 GPU, Mediatek’s 5th generation APU 590, LPDDR5x and UFS 3.1 support. The phone also utilizes 16GB RAM which can be virtually expanded up to 32GB and 1TB internal storage. Unfortunately, the device would ship with the Android 13 vanilla version but it’s likely to receive the Android 14 update via OTA.
Camera
The device has an LED Flash and a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 200MP(wide) main camera, 50MP ultrawide and 8MP macro lens.
The phone’s punch hole houses a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. The camera features HDR, autofocus, continuous shooting,
digital zoom, etc but it lacks OIS, there’s no EIS either.
Battery
Furthermore, the phone pack a 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, the battery could easily last a day and if it runs out of juice,
the 66W fast charger should be able to fill it up in no time. Other features includes Side fingerprint, Face ID, Dual sim, 5G support,
WIFI 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, OTG, GPS, etc…
