Ulefone unveiled two new rugged beasts at the CES 2024 event in Las Vegas, and they’re named; the Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra and Armor 25 Pro. These two rugged phones are the successors of the Armor 23 Ultra. Let’s explore some of the leaked features of both rugged powerhouses.

Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra features

The Armor 26 Ultra has an octagonal shaped camera module that houses quad cameras, Dual LED flash, IR Emitters and on the center is a Speaker Grille. In addition, the powerhouse comes with walkie-talkie and feature a satellite messaging function as well.

Display

The Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra has a 6.78-inch FHD+ punch hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and gorilla glass protection. The exact gorilla glass version remains hidden but it’s likely gonna be the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Battery

The device is packed with a gigantic 15,600mAh battery with 120W hyper charging, the battery could easily last up to a week on a single charge and the 120W charger is just perfect for such a ginormous battery capacity, the battery and charger is definitely a nice combo. The charging port has a cover which helps prevent water inflow.

Camera

The device feature a quad rear camera setup as mentioned earlier, the primary camera is 200MP and it’s likely going to be the ISOCELL HP3 which is amazing but unfortunately only the main rear camera is known at the moment. The device would likely feature a night vision camera because the rear camera module houses dual IR Emitters. It has a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Memory

Further, the device utilizes up to 24GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The main RAM size is probably 12GB or 16GB and can be virtually expanded up to 24GB, can’t tell if the device support ROM expansion.

Chipset

The Armor 26 Ultra is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8020 5G octa-core processor which is expected to handle performance quite well. The Dimensity 8020 is a decent chip but it’s not as impressive as the Dimensity 8200 that power the Unihertz Tank 3 and the Tank 3 Pro.

Android Version

Too bad the phone run on the Android 13 OS but who knows, Ulefone might send the Android 14 update to the phone via OTA.

Finally, the Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra is said to launch in April globally. These are the current available details of the Armor 26 Ultra at the moment, there’ll be more updates in the future, so let’s explore the revealed features of the Ulefone Armor 25 Pro.

Ulefone Armor 25 Pro Leaked Specs

The camera module contains dual camera, a Thermal Imaging camera, Dual LED flash, InfiRay branding and IR Emitters, this indicates that the Armor 25 Pro would feature a Night Vision and infiRay Thermal imaging cameras and according to Ulefone, the Night Vision camera is 64MP.

Its battery capacity is yet to be disclosed but the device is said to support 33W fast wired charging and it also support wireless charging.

So these two rugged phones are the upcoming successors of the Armor 23 Ultra and they are likely 5G rugged phones as well. The Armor 26 Ultra is the device that has my attention because of some of its leaked features, the device is probably going to be far better than the Armor 23 Ultra, its leaked specs are already confirming this speculation, I mean the Armor 26 Ultra has a 200MP main cam which is obviously better than the Armor 23 Ultra’s 50MP main sensor. I know larger camera MPs doesn’t automatically mean better camera quality but the Armor 26 Ultra is to succeed the Armor 23 Ultra, there’s no way Ulefone would not optimize the camera to make it better than preceding Ulefone devices.

However, the processor of the Armor 26 Ultra is the same as the the Armor 23 Ultra which means both phones might have similar performance and benchmark scores. The Armor 25 Pro would also not disappoint. The price of both rugged phones are expected to range from ~$300 – $600.
