Redmi has announced the Redmi A3, a budget phone with nice specs and features, it’s also going to retail for just $120. Let’s explore its key specifications.
Redmi A3 Specs And Features
The Redmi A3 has a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD waterdrop notch display with a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate which is great for a cheap phone. The display is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The device has a thickness of 8.32mm and it comes in Midnight Black, Lake Blue and Olive Green colorways. The bodies of the Midnight Black and Lake Blue color variants are made of glass and they weigh 193g, while the Olive Green has a body made of polymer (eco leather) and it weighs 199g.
At the back of the device is a circular camera module that houses an LED flash and a dual camera setup consisting of an 8MP main camera and an auxiliary lens. While the front camera is 5MP. Additionally, the phone features screen flash.
Furthermore, it ships with the Go version of Android 14 with MIUI 14 custom skin on top. Although, it’s likely going to receive the HyperOS update in the future.
The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery but unfortunately, it supports only 10W charging.
Moreover, the phone is powered by a Mediatek Helio G36 processor and it’s available in multiple memory configurations including;

Finally, the Redmi A3 is projected to officially launch on the 23rd of February in India and would later be available globally.
