Oukitel has announced the Oukitel WP33 Pro, a 5g rugged phone with a crazy loud speaker and gigantic battery, the speaker sits at the center of the phone’s rear camera module. According to Oukitel, the speaker is a 5W speaker with a max loudness of 136DB, which means the Oukitel wp33 pro has a speaker that is almost as loud as an aircraft engine… good lord.
Processor
The device is the first rugged phone to be powered by the Dimensity 6100 Plus (The “5g” Helio G99) The processor has a clock speed of 2.2GHz with 8 cores, paired with two cortex A76 Cores and six cortex A55 Cores and it is built on a 6 nanometer process and is paired the Mali G57 MP2 GPU. So this processor is basically the same as The Helio G99.
Memory, Camera And Display
The device utilises 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, it ship with the vanilla version of Android 13 right out of the box. The phone feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, 20MP night vision camera and a 2mp macro lens while the front facing camera is 32MP the phone has a 6.6 inch full HD Plus IPS LCD display unfortunately the refresh rate is just 60Hz.
Other Features, Battery And Price
Other features includes NFC, it is rated IP68 and IP69k, it has a thickness of 27.2 mm and it weigh 577.5g. It pack a 22,000mAh battery and it support 33w fast charging. The price of the device is yet to be decided but the device would be sold at a very affordable price during it`s launch date which is likely in 2024.
