IIIF150, one of the best rugged phone brands is gearing up to to release a new flagship rugged phone called the IIIF150 Air2 Ultra and according to some of the leaked specs, it seems the upcoming rugged phone would feature an In-display fingerprint scanner. If this turns out to be true, then the IIIF150 Air2 Ultra would be the first rugged phone to have this feature. The Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra should have been the first rugged phone to feature an optical fingerprint sensor but because of different reasons, Ulefone remodeled the Armor 23 Ultra and the device ended up having a side fingerprint instead. Let’s explore its leaked specifications.
The IIIF150 Air2 Ultra would feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ full view display with a resolution 2460×1080 pixels. The phone would feature a dual rear camera setup led with a 108MP primary sensor, the other camera lens is not revealed. However, the phone has a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone would run on the Android 14 OS and would pack a large non-removable battery and support 65W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the phone would utilize 12GB RAM and have a 256GB internal storage. The phone would lack a 3.5mm jack and wireless charging. Other features include dual SIM and in-display fingerprint sensor.
The IIIF150 Air2 Ultra is projected to launch in March and would likely be one of the best rugged phones of 2024. It’s also going to be the successor of the IIIF150 Air1 Ultra that is equipped with impressive specs including a 6.8-inch FHD+ display, Helio G99 octa-core processor, 64MP main camera, 20MP night vision camera and a 32MP front camera. With a thickness of just 9.55mm and a weight of 259g, the Air1 Ultra is also one of the thinnest and lightest rugged phones. The device retails for just $241.
The IIIF150 Air2 Ultra is expected to be far better than the Air1 Ultra and it’s also likely going to be a very thin and light rugged phone. There’ll be more details about the Air2 Ultra in the coming weeks.
